This November, the realm war will be even more deadly as two new careers take their place on the battlefield. The Empire will deploy the nobility and tactical cunning of the Knights of the Blazing Sun to aid the armies of Order in their battle against the encroaching darkness. Meanwhile Malekith's personal bodyguard, the much feared Black Guard will stride to war to bolster the Dark Elf armies as they struggle for their ancient homeland.
To herald the arrival of these supreme warriors, we will be running a special event on all servers beginning on the 17th of November and you can read all about it on our Heavy Metal event page. Knight of the Blazing Sun
The front lines of Order's righteous struggle against the malign forces of Destruction will soon be bolstered by the Knights of the Blazing Sun! The Knights, called from all corners of the Empire to perform their duty, will gather together in numbers never seen before! As elite warriors and expert tacticians, the Knights of the Blazing Sun are dedicated to claiming complete victory over Chaos and its allies!

The Knights of the Blazing Sun are a small elite order of Templars devoted to the study and mastery of the science and art of warfare. These fervent followers of Myrmidia value ability and accomplishment over all other factors, including noble birth. It is because of this that the order has grown in prosperity attracting the finest military minds to its banner.
A Knight of the Blazing Sun’s primary goal is to obtain perfection in the art of War, as such they travel the old world individually seeking battle both large and small. A warband with a Knight of the Blazing Sun at it’s head is a potent force capable of dealing with opponents with a level of cunning that ensures victory before the battle is even joined.
Black Guard
Our pathetic foes teeter upon the edge of a precipice. Only a nudge is required to send these enemies to their final, pitiable doom. The mighty Black Guard of Malekith has conquered the Elven lands of Yvresse and Cothique, and now moves rapidly to join in the main invasion. The Dark Elves that serve within this elite cadre are fearless and driven to victory by their all-consuming hatred of their enemies. The purity of a Black Guard's hate, combined with his mastery of arms and armor, will herald our inevitable conquest of the entire world.

The Black Guard of Naggarond are the favored warriors of the Witch King Malekith, and are given the scared task of not only serving as his personal bodyguard, but as his heartless enforcers on the field of battle. Those who would become the Black Guard are taken from birth from their mothers. A Black Guard has no family ties to distract them, they are children of hatred and war and are raised from infancy steeped in battle and blood. Each Black Guard has personally sworn an oath of undying devotion at the feet of the Witch King, it is this oath that lights the fires of hatred and scorn deep in their hearts, for no warrior can be greater than the one chosen by Malekith himself.
